Status of MicroBooNE
---
The MicroBooNE experiment recently completed
it's second year of operation and is moving
towards an analysis of the low energy neutrino
excess anomaly.  MicroBooNE is a Liquid Argon
Time Projection Chamber (LArTPC), and is
the flagship detector in Fermilab's Short
Baseline Neutrino program. Having successfully
demonstrated that a detector with the desired
topological and calorimetric sensitivity
can be scaled to the tonne level, MicroBooNE
is also paving the way for the next generation
LArTPC, DUNE.
