During the conference, we gave software awards to several graduate students in recognition of their contributions to the meeting.  The awards consisted of single-user, licensed copies of Mathematica, Maple, Matlab, and Scientific Workplace, the latter including a copy of MuPAD.  These powerful tools for scientific research were kindly provided by the manufacturers:  Wolfram Research, Maplesoft, MathWorks, and MacKichan Software, respectivelyWe thank each of these benefactors for their generous support!

A copy of Mathematica 7 was presented to Shimon Rubin, Ben Gurion University of the Negev, shown here with Professor Meshkov.

Student copies of Maple 12 were given to Yuta Kodama, Tokyo University of Science, and Shumpei Uno, Nagoya University, shown here with Professor Meshkov.

MatLab was awarded to Gopal Bhatta, Florida International University, shown here with Professor Perlmutter.

Scientific Workplace and MuPAD were presented to Andre Veitia, University of Miami, shown here with Professor Perlmutter.
